Riversnake - 1052 Late Spring by Greiger

Map Description:

While playing on the Battle of the Gods 2 thread, I decided to try to create some of the settlements my champions built.

All the 'D's are my Dracon, which are the fortress race, the yellow Cs are chocobos.

This is the northern settlement, just north of the desert that is built on the river. The snapshot is taken after a particularly violent fish offensive and my revenge. 3 large fish survived because my Animal Caretaker turned crossbowman decided to take a nap on the east side of the map.

The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.

There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check the Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is outside the bounds of the DataView. Feel free to report a problem with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.

Where are you getting the rock from? So far looks good, high rise buildings, looks very fronteerish, but I can't help but think I'd start with a wall first.

Do you only see a blank space?

You can download the compressed map file: 2008-05/greiger-Riversnake-region1-1052-7649.fdf-map but you will need the .NET version of SL's DF Map Compressor to convert to the .PNG image format.
