The beginning of a collapsible glass fortress. It is going to be a 14 high, 17 deep and 17 wide cuboid. I will keep building upwards from this base until It is high enough. I will then build a ramp and a support on the roof and connect it to an overhanging arm.
The goal after that will be to strip mine everything underneath the glass cubiod. When the support is destroyed the glass house will fall into the lake and smash through 13 layers on ground with my entire population housed with in.
Crazy? Yes
Dumb? I think not

Looks like you will be strip mining away some of your living areas.

Waaaaaaait...
You have a magma vent, and yet you chose to build your suspended glass deathtrap over WATER?

Yeah maybe I should have connected up a lever with-in my glass cube that would release magma all through my non-glass fort area. That way it could have falling through a layer of water, and then 15 layers of magma. Sound fun?
To bad I wasn't able to as my save file was corrupted before I had the chance to do anything else. I didn't even get to drop the fort :(
