• Δ 15. Barracks

  ( 1053 Early Spring to onwards )
  This is the barracks. It used to be an empty room filled with stones, but now it's a barracks. I don't know its original purpose. - Squeegy

• 17. Main Entrance

  The second and far more successful fortress hall.
  
  The lava trench is partly for defense, but mostly because I enjoy dropping goblins to their doom with a well-timed lever pull. A wall would've worked just as well, and kept out crossbow bolts too. - Thasero

• 16. Agricultural

  My, what a big food stockpile you have.
  
  Since most masterwork items are really meant to go in the Museum, I thought it would be a good idea to focus on agriculture for trade. Plus, setting all dwarves to harvest on a large farm ensures that everyone gets experience as a farmer - stat points for everyone!
  
  Every kind of underground seed is available - I made sure to bring them all on embark. The farm is split into a series of 3x5 plots. No, there is not any conceivable reason why someone would need all of them at the same time. I believe in overbuilding. - Thasero

• 16. Original Entrance

  This is where I originally started digging, in hopes of being close to sand, water, and magma all at once. Unfortunately I was a lot closer to water than expected - I struck aquifer while digging the central staircase. Doh! I had thought from the embark screen that only the shrubland north of the volcano had aquifer, not the white sand biome as well. - Thasero

• 15. Main Level

  ( 1052 Early Spring to onwards )
  Workshops, dining, and residential. Raw material stockpiles are above, and finished good stockpiles below, the respective workshops. Most of them are quite unused; I built ahead of time so that all of the stockpiles would be arranged conveniently for the next person.
  
  The well off the dining room is also being used for fishing. The food is hardly necessary, but turtle shells help with strange moods (and bone carving practice). - Thasero

• 14. Museum

  ( 1052 Early Spring to onwards )
  The Museum, the point of this succession fortress.
  
  The rules of the challenge are:
  
  1. The museum may not be used for any other purpose. Exception: Dwarves may come look at the art (sculpture gardens).
  2. Only exceptional, masterwork, or artifact quality items may be placed in the museum.
  3. Anything that gets blood, vomit, or mud on it must be replaced or cleaned.
  
  In the first year, obviously there's nothing to put in the museum unless you get an early strange mood, but I did make sure to mine out plenty of room for my successors. - Thasero

• 6. Adamantine

  ( 1052 Early Spring to onwards )
  Raw adamantine... I haven't mined any, of course. It would be pretty mean to do that right before I save and turn over the fortress to someone else, after all.
  
  Although now that you mention it, I haven't actually uploaded the file yet...
  
  ... you all know how to deal with Hidden Fun Stuff, right? Guys?
  
  
  ... This is the first fortress I've had that's found adamantine. - Thasero
