This is to show my friends my waterfall and try to figure out why my dining room keeps getting flooded, despite the HUUUUGE reservoir i made to get rid of the water.. ;)

If I had to guess, with the waterfall, I'd guess that the pressure from the falling water was forcing water up out of the four water holes around the edge. How bad is the flooding? It may just be mist, which when it settles tends to leave water on the ground. You could try using grates so that mist water falls through into the resevoir.

Ahh... what you really need to do is pump the water out of your resevoir back into the river. Where you've connected the resevoir to the lakes at the south, pump the water out dump it vertically back into the river.

Its a brook isn't it... you need to channel through the surface in order to lift water out or push water into it.
