One year later and the dwarves have a dining room and beds. From here, I think I'll move on to workshops when I clear out a little more of this accursed stone.

That's amazing. I can't wait to see what you do with the chasm. Looks like you have this thought out years in advance.

Δ 15. Legendary Dining Room

After finishing the Mosaic, my dwarves needed something a little more useful so I designed this water-themed dining room. Seats 40. The central staircase goes down to food storage, and, below that, food preparation and farm access. - Chayfox

This neat little waterway uses the brook to circulate water through my fortress, both for well access, and looks. - Chayfox
15. The Great Seal

The insignia of my dwarven parent civilization, (Afenestilkadol, The Skinny Whirling Hatchets) realized in a smooth block mosaic island in our front hall. Like all good dwarven engineering, it has a defensive use as well, with the bridges being retractable for safety. The blocks were brought from embark to ensure that the colors would be available and in a timely fashion. The discreet stairways lead down to a storage room below the mosaic. - Chayfox
