After a recent series of goblin sieges, the population has been brought down to eighteen dwarves. This has brought glass production and other industries to a standstill. Meanwhile, the fortress lays relatively dormant while it awaits more immigrants.
The glass tower to the east is steadily growing, albeit at a much reduced rate. Exports include crafts of all sorts, plus goblin armour and clothing. Imports include food, drink, weapons, seeds, metal bars, exotic animals, and trap components. Trade with elves is now performed, though on a very limited basis.

It it safe to be building all that glass ontop of a (I assume?) a wooden base? Pretty huge.
