Despite the Baron's sudden and unwanted appearance, I still managed to complete the project in time.

This effectively makes my entire fortress an island.
Unfortunately, I can't upload a pic of it full of water, since I need to do about 20 different things right now, but here you go!

That surprisingly tiny room is actually the mayor's office. (The masterwork platinum statue keeps him happy)
In the corners are two switches. One lowers/raises bridges, the other floodgates. Both are up at the moment. - Flok

One thing that perplexes me about this version is how you can build stone fall traps outside. Do the rocks just hover in the air until an enemy steps under it? :P
