It has been a rather sleepy year. The waterworks continue to be constructed and probably will for some time, though measured progress was made this year. One forgotten beast has come and is so far sealed off since it has a deadly dust attack and I am as of yet unwilling to deal with it.
Apparently the human diplomat is a vampire. All the more reason to wage war against the tall folk some day.
The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.
There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check
the
Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help
me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error
in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is
outside the bounds of the DataView. Feel free to
report a problem
with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.

Well... Good luck with DF2014! It's only a few months at most for DF2015. I'm interested by the fact that goblins have joined a dwarven civilization. I had dwarves join goblins, or maybe they were raised from kidnapped dwarves or a clan of dwarves.
Enjoy the improvements, I'll be following your maps from the archive, I like your dwarfcentric playing.

When I look at the legendary dwarf quarters, a certain long forgotten feeling emerges... like something falling around the lungs or stomach. Jealousy? Awe? Pride?
