oh I like how you set up your masonry, with the wide rooms and open-faced pits.

I was surprised was it the third summer, when bow goblins ambushed me just before I finished the wall. They aimed at throaths, killing numerous Shields and some animals in their pen. - ajr_

A yeti my unarmed Shields worked as their first bloody duty losing two defenders and at least one civilian. But hey, the Yeti didn't start a tantrum spiral! - ajr_

An ogre that passed my wall on the opposite side of the drake pen. Shields defended against him. Don't know how many I lost, but could have been worse. I feel like a winner. So far the bow goblins were the worst I faced, decimating 10% of my population and making many dwarves sad. - ajr_
