( 35 Early Spring → onwards )
I embarked to a land in the (newly made) Realm of The Restless God and found myself atop a cliff. I looked around for a place to dig in on the side of the cliff, and found that all the areas that I could dig into were too crowded.
So I dug down. - Fivegears
The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.
There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check
the
Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help
me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error
in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is
outside the bounds of the DataView
. Feel free to
report a problem
with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.

You can download the compressed map file:

but you will need the .NET version of
SL's DF Map Compressor
to convert to the .PNG image format.

I like this design. You should channel the cylinder the fort sits in all the way down to the base of the cliff.

@Holocene - I was thinking about that - it'll be a bit of a pain to dig out some of the wider parts of the cliff, but, long-term, I think it'll look fantastic. I just hope I don't start thinking it's a good idea to dig out PAST the surface.
