Map Description:

Muthkat sat down in his steel throne and dreamt.

He dreamt of days gone by, of fire and magma, of the smoke and gleaming steel, of the polished walls and engraved floors, of his first home, Delethurvad, or more commonly known within the kingdom, Polishseals.

The glass looks pretty in compressed form. It's transparent. The massiveness, awesome.

I like what's on the bottom of the Grand Stairway - A Grand Granary and the thick-walled chambers.

Building around that massive stairway must make you feel vary dwarfy!

Δ 133. The Grand Entryway
With the military barracks open to the hallway, and steel bridges and statues guarding the entrance, this hallway of polished rock is the first thing traders see.

Nearby, a dwarven atom smasher is being maintained. - jonanlsh
Δ 133. The Old Fortress
This hole in a mountain was home to the dwarves of Delethurvad for about 7-8 years.

Now, it is an abandoned complex, filled with cats and coffins. - jonanlsh

A depot made of 100% steel bars.
A large chamber filled with the tradable wealth of Delethurvad.
Smoothed walls and floors.
And a double helix that spirals into the bowels of the fortress.
Nothing gets a trader more fired up than such wondrous sights. - jonanlsh
Δ 132. B-1:Workshop Floor
All the non-food workshops are housed in this circular hallway. The metalworking industry, the clothing industry, the wood industry, the masonry industry, they call this place home.
And they're all made out of 100% steel bars! - jonanlsh
Δ 131. B-2: Storage
This central storeroom holds all the non-consumables of Delethurvad.
From 12 o'clock: Stone, Wood, Stone, Cloth and Leather, Gems, Furniture, Armor, Weapons, Ammo, Furniture, Bones and Skulls, Bars.
Carved staircases provide quick access to the storage room from the workshops above. - jonanlsh
Δ 128. B-5: Grand Housing Complex and Banquet Hall
This massive chamber is heavily engraved (well, the bedrooms and statue gardens, at least). The central dining room has a artifact table, skyrocketing the value of the place.
The entrances to the bedrooms go through statue gardens, to maximize the happiness of the dwarves. Statue gardens have been designated throughout the floor.
All normal dwarves get 2 iron cabinets and a single container.
Nobles get flexible arrangements in the 5x5 rooms, with attached dining room and office. - jonanlsh
Δ 128. B-5: Hospital
This hospital is equipped with 10 wards, each with a bed, a table and a traction bench. Its been designated for engraving sometime in the future.
The Chief Medical Dwarf has an office in the center, with a storeroom nearby that holds thread ,soap and cloth for medical use. - jonanlsh
Δ 127. B-6: Food Storage, Processing and Production
This entire floor handles Delethurvad's food supply.
7 large rooms store enough meals to feed the 180~ dwarves of Delethurvad for about 5 years, and enough booze for 3 years~.
One farm manned by the children produces sweet pods, pig tails, plump helmets, cave wheat, quarry bushes and dimple cups on a yearly basis.
Within one of the diamond rooms are all the food workshops of Delethurvad, along with screw presses and querns.
Another diamond room houses all the egg-layers of the fortress. - jonanlsh
Δ 126. B-8: Mining Ops and Aqueduct System
The designated chalk and iron mines are here. An aqueduct system delivers waters to cisterns and the farm irrigation system. - jonanlsh
Δ 124. B-10:The Tomb Complex
Every single dwarf gets a fully engraved tomb to their own, assigned to them from birth.
The nobles get the bigger plots, obviously. - jonanlsh
Δ 114. B-20: Into the Breach
The caverns have been breached through a carved fortification.
This room is the defense point for holding off Forgotten Beast incursions.
With a military squad down here full time, nothing gets past them. - jonanlsh
