Fort is mosey-ing along slowly. No FPS problems just taking a while to get things done.
As you can see I'm gearing up towards turning on invasions again. I've already restarted moods, one peasant (fort origin) has already gone melancholy. Also I 've recently acquired a vampire in one of my immigrant waves and he/she is busy picking off my engraves after having munched on a few fellows from one of my new military squads.
The Real Problem however is cats. I've been having to keep a constant watch to butcher all kittens born into the fort. A lot of my dwarfs are wearing cute fluffy kitten skin garments. It's a nuisance, but also kind of essential since I need to cloth my dwarfs or they go on a killing rampage. You'd think a Dwarfs lifestyle would fit in quite nicely with being a dirty unkempt nudist. Alas that is not the case.
These stupid cats are all attached to 2 dwarfs who as it happens are enormously important to the fort, me, and the other dwarfs. Not much to be done except to monitor kitten births as closely as possible.
