Map Description:

Finally back to dwarf fortress after all the cool new additions! Trying to make use of many of them in the new fortress -- much flooding and death to gobbos was had!

Shadestandard was a fortress founded in a pretty unremarkable area. The dwarven prospectors said that the area was rich in "deep and shallow metals", but nothing of value was actually found.

Instead, very shallow caves makes this point an easy access to the underworld, if the dwarves so wish to take that plunge. - Caranha

The small stockpile between the two statues is for soap, so the dwarves can clean themselves more conveniently. - Caranha

I love the new stockpile options, although I'm still a bit unsure how to best organize my stone workshops - this needs more work. - Caranha

Δ 13. Adamantine Project! Part 0
These adamantine spines (I found 2 so far) are in a very bad location. I will have to do something creative (probably large scale cave-ins) to get access to them.

Suggestions are welcome. - Caranha
Δ 13. Flooded Magma Chambers!
Ooops, the cave layers are so close to each other in this map, I managed to pierce the underground lake while trying to make a lava chamber for my forges. - Caranha
