• Δ 166. Mayor's house
  The mayor lives here, in one of the largest building in the fortress. Below the house is the community's graveyard. About half of those coffins are filled. - Savolainen5
• Δ 165. The Duke's Quarters
  The Duke's tower features silver tables and chairs, iron storage units, a masterful bed, artifact jewel hatch cover, and a rose gold sarcophagus. - Savolainen5
• Δ 163. Barracks dormitory
  Enough said. The bed to the north is the Militia Commander's room. There's the danger room to the southeast. I've stopped using it because my dwarves are too strong for my liking. - Savolainen5
• Δ 163. Tower of the Captain of the Guard
  The Tower contains the quarters of the CotG and his wife, the only other member of the Fortress Guard. Together, the two mercilessly beat any offending dwarves (and believe me, there are many since we lack most of the materials mandated), often to death. It's quite fun! - Savolainen5
• Δ 162. Apartment Tower
  Rather than use precious land space or carve out the hill (as if Humans would do that), I decided to build a tower for my dwarves. It currently has 5 completed levels, a 6th almost done (for a total of 72 beds, about half of what I need), and the 7th is under construction. Jeez, it's a pain to designate, but that's all right. - Savolainen5
• Δ 162. Farms and food
  I experienced a food-splosion a few years ago, so I had to drastically cut back on food production because it was all rotting outside. I've constructed a small wooden tower to hold all my food, and I've held off on adding another level because of the scarcity of wood (I've clear-cut the whole map). - Savolainen5

  A wooden drawbridge with some cage traps (that I really don't even need). Please notice that the walls are all constructed of precious, precious wood. - Savolainen5
• ¶ 162. Outside
  The small fortress of Kisswinds, population: 162. The mines are just off of the Microcline block road, which is nearing completion. Many a dwarf has been surprised by Goblin ambushes on the hill above the mine entrance. And then the ambushers are surprised by the militia, and cut down. - Savolainen5
• Δ 160. Dining Hall
  Running out of space, and refusing to dig the ground out, I decided to build over the river and land to the south of the fortress.

• Δ 160. Wood Stockpile
  I'm not sure why, but a couple years ago, the dwarves decided to stop hauling wood to the stockpile. It's a pain, but whatever. - Savolainen5
• Δ 159. Underground Tree Farm
  It's a little un-Human, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I breached the caverns a little and began this tree farm, with some water from the river to feed it. - Savolainen5
• Δ 159. Well and Meeting Area
  Here is the other meeting area of the fortress. In the same area, you see the fortress still, the carpenter's workshops, and further to the north, enclosed in a natural dip in the hill, the first dormitory and the office of the Big Boss (manager, broker, book keeper). - Savolainen5
