This is the main meeting area for dorfs at the center of the fortress. Also shown are the hospital and barracks.

The switches control the bridges directly below. Left to right, they control the outer gate, the long line of trapdoor bridges, then the orthoclase inner gate.

To the north is the old fortress. Down the east ramp is the new fortress. To the southeast is the food industry area. - Cheepicus

Δ 113. Old Fortress
The heart of the old fortress. Deprecated. The mayor and record keeper still use these rooms, but the dining hall has been freed. - Cheepicus
Δ 112. Body Recovery Trenches
These trenches were made to retrieve the dead bodies of fallen dorfs during the year-long siege. They were walled up afterwards to keep the fortress safe against flying enemies. - Cheepicus
Δ 111. Farm and Food Processing
The old farms were way far away from the fortress, so I set up some new farms out in the giant patch of soil.

It revolves around the plant stockpile with no barrels. I like this setup so I can see how many plants of what types I have at a glance. - Cheepicus

Drawbridges at either end, with a long row of sliding bridges to drop enemies down to a pit. - Cheepicus
Δ 109. Water source
Water source. Comes from a lake that freezes so it should replenish forever. There's a fortification by the constructed wall to the well to keep enemies out.

Down the hallway to the west is where the old farms were. - Cheepicus
Δ 106. Garbage dump / New Fortress
This is where the garbage dump zone is, roughly in the heart of the new fortress. - Cheepicus
Δ 80. Tomb
They deserved more, but I didn't have the time. - Cheepicus
