By the end of the third year in twisted anvils, the dwarves were finally able to channel the powers of Lava to fuel the forges. A small goblin siege attacked, but were easily repelled by the current forces, with no dwarven losses - on the other hand, a goblin thief managed to take a kid who was helping build the Red Wall, and while he was caught by the guard, he killed his hostage before being taken down.
Most of the workshops were moved underground, so now we can start the bautification of this area. Projects such as roads, an appropriate barracks, entertainment areas and a grand trading depot are all under consideration. - Caranha

How many people live in the fortress? What do you have planned next?

Hey! About 70 dwarves live in the fortress currently.
My current plan is to finish the double Kaolinite wall all around the fortress, but this will take some time. Along with that, I need to explore the second cavern level (where a Forgotten Beast lives) in order to find a renewable source of water.
Of course there are many more plans, but those are the two most immediate ones.
