Giant Web Harvest Turns out the only way to not disturb the web is to build walls beneath the web. Works well, but is a slight pain for diagonal parts. Submitted by: joshdw4 - 2008-11-11
Giant Cave Spider Harvest Room Floodgates bar all exits to the fortress. I also had cows tied to every rope around the outside. The spider did run towards the cows once released, but nothing. Bah. The center of the room was suppose to be a terrifying jail. So now on to other ideas. No clue where to start. Maybe with the same design but channels. Or a big open sacrificial pit. Who knows. Hero This poor guy fell 5 stories down the pit while fighting a named giant bat. I dug to him as fast as I could. Come to find out later that he landed 2 stories past the giant cave spider! That would have been a nasty shock. Submitted by: joshdw4 - 2008-11-09
Kitty killer So two dwarves showed up with kittens who promptly started killing the cave spiders and thus, my economy. I needed a way to kill them fast. So the jerks that brought them got assigned to pump duty and a no-pet door filtered the kittens in. They then slowly died to floor spikes. Submitted by: joshdw4 - 2008-11-09
Massive towercap farm So I dug this out so I didn't have to flood a large area to get towercaps. However, they aren't growing. I'm testing to see if the furrowed ground left by a farm plot will grow them. Submitted by: joshdw4 - 2008-11-09

Giant Cave Spider DUN DUN DUN. Not so tough now. So I think I'm tempting fate by messing with this thing. I was extremely lucky to actually get the thing caged before it killed anyone. Submitted by: joshdw4 - 2008-11-09
