Royal quaters!

The king did out in the world, and the prince had immigrated to my fort.
So I had to make royal rooms very very fast, - (but weapon traps always helps. ;-)

Taming the lower cavern

The current project is to harvest a good piece of the lower cavern. I will later have to think of something to use it for.

Royal quaters

For now they are 'just' filled with artifacts and gold furniture, but I hope to fill them with special super crafted stuff in the years to come.

Lower station

I'm right now only moving metal bars down to the 'soon to be opened' magna forge area.
I've places a medium track stop to slow the cart a little, and then another minimal stop with auto dump. The result is that I get the dump done, but the cart will continue up the helix again.
I.e. I currently only need a single stop for loading the cart.

Upper station

I have a tight air lock system to avoid animals using the tracks as a direct path.
The design are pressure plates linked to doors, and the trick is to have a somewhat long distance from the doors to where the animals may be, so the door will have closed before anything beside the cart gets through.

Power plant

The mine cart stack is powered by an 'aquifire reactor'.
This is on the edge of being an exploit, but I really really want to have a 100% reliable power source for the stack.

Mine cart stack

The design is a 3x3 shaft made as a double helix.
The power is transmitted down through the empty central square.

My setup uses a highest speed roller at every second level on the up track, and a high track stop to avoid derailing on every other level on the down track.

Notice that I use drawbridges to cover the corners of the helix to have the cart move unto the 'station tracks'.
The plan is to have a static helix to which I can append stations as needed.

The station tracks on this level are more complicated than currently needed as I've already used the same station for a test run upwards. But then again, - it proves that the design is very flexible.

Recycling center

Refuse dropped down from above is sorted and utilized as crafts / decorations.
The goblin remains are finally decomposing into bones that can be used for 'beautification'. :-)
