Fortress: Mistbridge Noble Digger

08 Lorekeeper's Office

Looks like the Lorekeeper "Huginn" is enjoying a bitter orange in his office before getting back to updating the stockpile records.

07 Dining Hall

All the high-quality wooden tables and chairs you could ask for! Dwarves grab an Eagle bone goblet and come in here to get drunk or to dine on Cave Lobsters.

The staircases go up to the kitchen and larder.

06 Dormitory

A simple enclosed room with beds and smoothed floors. This is enough to stop year-1 Dwarves from getting mad about their sleeping situation.

To the East, under the ramp leading into this room, is the Artifact Vault, currently containing some kind of musical instrument made out of bone.

05 Promenade

This is the highest cliff overlooking the river valley. I'll probably end up putting tombs here, or maybe just a very large guard tower with sniper ledges.

04 Beehives

Sitting above the fortress entrance--technically built on the rooftops of the Overseer's and Lorekeeper's offices--are six beehives, on an isolated section of cliff.

03 Surface Yard

This is where all the carpentry, butchering, tanning, wood burning, and what little masonry we do, gets done.

There are furniture and refuse stockpiles as well as ash, coal, wood blocks, and metal bars.

The huge pasture for all the livestock is to the south. I've been keeping the trees clear on this level so we don't have creeping monsters (like Giant Ticks) scaring the dwarves below them.

02 River

It's big and full of fish. In this fort, Rangers are tasked with catching fish, since the hunting isn't too great here due to a preponderance of giant flying creatures that simply run away and hide in the treetops.

01 Front Door

This is the only entrance to the actual fortress for now.

To the north and south are ramps covered by hatches which lead into stockpile space (Gems, Cloth, Leather, Paper in one and Skulls, Bones, Teeth, etc. in the other)

The ramp just inside the doors leads down to the dormitory, which has ramps leading back up into the larder and kitchens.

Fortress: Deepwall Noble Digger

Crypt

Dug out atop the mountain. No one is buried here yet.

Temples and Workshops

Four more temples, and to the north and south are the main workshop and storage spaces.

Founders' Canton and Resource Rooms

To the west are the founders' apartments. To the east are the Hospital, Library, Tavern, and one more room I'm not yet using.

Operations Center

This area contains the administrators' offices and hatches leading down to artifact storage vaults. The only way to get in here is through a long winding staircase that begins in the Masonary. This also connects to the underworks for the fortress' traps and a few other sensitive areas.

Barracks, Dorm, Upper Kitchen Area, Dining Hall

Some of the high-traffic areas of the fort. To the north is the Masonary and the hatches leading down to the Great Hall

Execution Chamber

Caged monsters can be thrown into this whole, where the military waits below to test their weaponry.

Trade Entrance

Wagons must navigate this maze of cage traps and travel through a tunnel to get to the depot.
