Fortress: Wheelsgod MapAnon

The great avenue

A broad central avenue in the fortress, from which guests can reach the different functions and exhibits. It branches off into a smaller street from which the residences, the aquarium and the caverns can be reached.

Victory monument

When the large water reservoir was dug out, a miner was engulfed by the powerful currents of the cold lakewater flowing in. Against all odds, she managed not only to force her way through a submerged stairwell and make it into the lake, but she also managed to climb the lakeside cliff and drag herself into safety.

To celebrate the extraordinary miner's victory over death, a statue was erected in her honour.

Library

In the library, a large staff of scholars are hard at work producing a rich literature concering the geological wonders of the natural world.

The pillar

This exhibit is intended to let the visitors see the local geological stratigraphy. It consists of a large rock pillar carved from a small hill.

The stratigraphy is as follows (from top to bottom):
1. Jet
2. Granite
3. Gabbro

Main causeway

The main causeway connects the different districts of the city, and also provides piping for the farms, gardens and reservoirs.

The bottom floors of the cultural tower houses the catacombs of the city.

Below the ground level, the large tower has a floor dedicated to housing farms, kitchens and food stockpiles, supplying the tavern above.

The pipings supply the gardens, as well as the farms and the wells, with fresh water from the surface.
