Fortress: Project Superbowl | Shurikane | |
'STONEWALL JACKSON' THE ROADS OF BLOCKING - Sniper After a second frost dragon attack that took out a human caravan and an entire migrant wave, Stonewall Jackson quickly rushed to pick up his ammo while the fort prepared extra fortifications and eventually trapped the beast within the maze of traps leading into the fort. With the dragon able to avoid the pressure plates, the maze became an improvised shooting gallery, to which BOOM HEADSHOT! eagerly participated. The last blow went to Stonewall Jackson, a seasoned veteran of battle, well able to unleash several bolts per second against his foes. He now resides within the second room of Project Superbowl and holds the fort as legendary sniper with his partner Vengeance. Submitted by: Shurikane - 2009-10-29 |

'VENGEANCE' CILOBASTIS THE BELL OF SHELLS - Sniper In the siege of the titan, Vengeance gladly took it upon herself to challenge the beast, mano a mano, after growing impatient with the creature's endless lingering outside the fortress and fresh from having lost a teammate of hers not too long ago - a sadly nameless recruit. She currently resides within the first room of Project Superbowl and holds the fort as legendary sniper with her partner Stonewall Jackson. Submitted by: Shurikane - 2009-10-29 |

Fortifications? In MY dining room?! A megabeast scramble found us losing half our force within minutes, but by an incredible streak of luck, we managed to lock away the foul monster in the dungeon master's dining room!. A few fortifications later and the room became a live-fire shooting gallery for the half-dozen newly drafted crossbowdwarves. As he was to be aptly named in the aftermath, the brave mason BOOM HEADSHOT! eventually landed the last blow on the beast. At his request, he has been undrafted and has humbly returned to his mason duties. Submitted by: Shurikane - 2009-10-29 |

An unexpected pride and joy of the community, Whippit is a death chamber wherein each weapon trap contains one, and only one whip. It was used against a human siege with... arousing results. The torture was so excruciating for the prisoners that it went on for one season and they actually leveled up! Submitted by: Shurikane - 2009-10-29 |

The trap alley has, sadly, been completely ineffective against whichever forces were strong enough to make it past the caravans. Only once have the cage traps been used, and the growing line of whip traps is soon becoming more decoration than actual threat. Still, we feel the need to complete it, if only to find beauty in the arrangement. Submitted by: Shurikane - 2009-10-29 |

The trade depot provides meatshielding to passing dwarves, allowing foreign warriors to take in most of the incoming onslaughts - and Armok knows we need all the help we can get. In the event of a catastrophe, drawbridges retract and the community plans its next - and often inevitable - move. Submitted by: Shurikane - 2009-10-29 |
