Bunch of support stuff here. The water source is in this layer, which feeds into the well and pump stack for the reservoir. In addition, passages to the pump stack, the ballistae, and the entrance fortifications.

Life/Death

Where peacocks and hens are born, and where dwarves are put when they die. The tombs have expanded a bit this year, as a Weregila mega-beast killed 6 before being shot down.


I think it's funny to give dwarves better tombs then living quarters.

Power

Decided on windmills, because having windmills on top of this giant mountain seemed neat. Also, less of a headache then figuring out waterwheel flow mechanics.

Reservoir

I figure this is enough water to cause invaders to leave speedily. Pretty sure the supports are unnecessary in this version, but I've been playing since 2D, so it's second nature now (haha!)

Entrance

Barracks, archery range, and entrance. The eventual plan is to have sieges go counter-clockwise around the square due to drawbridge walls, with ballistae in the North-East. The water pressure trap will drop water from the South-West corner, and the hope is that invaders will be thrown into the pit to the West.

Potential Generator Spot?

If I ever need power, I could set up a generator that drains one cavern lake through this point to the lake below.
