Nightdines the Inn of Hell
A tavern at the Circus. The statue depicts The Breach of Hell. "The ghosts of fire are impaled on the menacing spikes. The dwarves are shooting the phantoms of snow. The dwarves are striking down the green devils. The dwarves are striking a triumphant pose. The dwarves are laughing." Tonight we dine in HFS!
The tavern had to be constructed using DFHack liquids. Anytime a walkable path existed from the HFS to the caverns, my FPS dropped to a standstill.
An airlock was built to explore hell. A peasant died (burned) while smoothing the outside bunker, along with a legendary speardwarf, Tun Shankchannel the Creative Quake of Ends, who died after colliding with the side of the bunker after being hit by clown dust. The two demons involved fell into the glowing pits, likely after being knocked out of the air by their own attacks. They're memorialized on the two slabs in the tavern.

The Big Top
A spiral of repeating upright spikes and fortifications. The site of the battle after opening the "Circus". Many spikes melted in demonfire, despite being of magma proof components (iron/obsidian/orthoclase,) but killed several demons. The rest of the demons were destroyed by marksdwarves before infantry could engage.
A few straggling demons retreated back into hell, actively avoiding my legendary soldiers. My infantry got their chance later when I used my stairwell construction team to bait them into pursuit. No losses. I didn't get any demons with hard materials. Vomit, flame, and snow fliers, with a few fleshy non-fliers (fought later during the exploration of hell.)
