Fortress: Roadhouse of Legend | Samoorai
This it the top of the pump stack for the magmafall, pumping up 5 separate streams of magma from the pool at the bottom to ensure a more consistent flow to the fall. On the right is the primary perpetual energy generator, which powers the wonder. Submitted by: Samoorai - 2016-10-10 |

Designed to house the office, bedroom, and tomb of the King and Queen (and other nobility), this is the top level of the fortress proper. Submitted by: Samoorai - 2016-10-10 |

This level holds the tombs for the starting 7 dwarves, and any distinguished military personnel (those who have earned extra names). It is also the top level where the general population in entombed around the central spire upon death. Submitted by: Samoorai - 2016-10-10 |

This level, once complete, will have a ring of masterwork marble statues, providing entertainment for the population. It also houses the level to retract the bridges to the central spire (unfinished). Submitted by: Samoorai - 2016-10-10 |

The final fall back point, this level houses the hospital, dormitories, a backup dining room (unfinished), and a backup barracks (also unfinished). It has access to the fresh water system (because hospital), and has small garbage areas, along with being the top level of the garbage chute (for disposal of refuse into the magma pool). While currently unfinished, drawbridges would seal the surviving population inside in case of catastrophic breach of enemy forces, with (also unfinished) food supplies to hopefully last until the forces get bored and leave. Several wall sections are made of clear glass, to (in my head) let the dwarves still see out while trapped inside. Submitted by: Samoorai - 2016-10-10 |

This is the least utilised level, housing all clothes production and storage. It is also the lowest general population burial area, reserved for engraved epitaphs, for the unfortunate souls who's bodies cannot be laid to rest. Submitted by: Samoorai - 2016-10-10 |

This level was carefully flooded during initial fortress construction to muddy the floor enough for underground flora to grow. While it doesn't show up (for some reason), most tiles are covered with the various underground grass equivalents, enabling livestock to survive during extended sieges. It also provides a backup tree-felling area. Also on this level are all animal related workshops. Submitted by: Samoorai - 2016-10-10 |

This level houses all alcohol production and storage. It also provides fresh water, for those who want to drink it, and also for cleaning, as well as the levers that control the water system. The water system can also occasionally provide fish. Submitted by: Samoorai - 2016-10-10 |

A little unfinished, but this is the dining area. Each table and chair is of exceptional quality, and will eventually form a double ring around the level. It's also the bottom level of the fresh water system, and the primary garbage area. Submitted by: Samoorai - 2016-10-10 |

This level houses storage for all foodstuffs other than seeds and alcohol. It also has the kitchens and one of the two main garbage areas. Submitted by: Samoorai - 2016-10-10 |

From here, water from the drinking reservoir is pumped out, ensuring clean water is always drawn in. The only exception is when the river freezes, to make sure it doesn't run dry in the winter, as the flowing river provides the power for this system. Submitted by: Samoorai - 2016-10-09 |

This is the main level of the fortress, holding the central walkway that circles around the magmafall. This level, along with the ones immediately above and below, hold the majority of the housing, with a few extras up to the dining level. It also holds the primary barracks, farming areas, and the trade depot, along with the mayor's and military commander's quarters/offices. Also the jail. The drawbridge to the right of the trade depot can be raised to seal off the entryway, as the second line of defence should hostile forces make it past the main entrance before that bridge can be raised. The dig designated area around the magmafall pump stack is what will eventually become the entrance to the caverns and further mining efforts. Submitted by: Samoorai - 2016-10-09 |

Fortress: Anguishcities | Salmeuk
The most popular hangout in my fortress, despite the completely barren bookshelves. Submitted by: Salmeuk - 2016-10-09 |

And two adjacent walled courtyards, one for farming and livestock and the other used to train the marksmanship of our rangers. Neither is accessible because of the goblins. Submitted by: Salmeuk - 2016-10-09 |
