Mechanic Skink

The second skink, who I am certain is still alive, lives in these two sandy rooms. He clambers over the bins, hissing and wailing to be released.

Entrance Lever

A cobaltite lever located at this point closes the entrance.

Entrance Drawbridge

When closed, this bridge protects the fortress from most everything. The passageway to the north doesn't lead to the fortress but instead to an incomplete cistern. For reasons.

Corpse Vault

To keep mangled bodies away from sensitive eyes, I've shunted the remaining corpses from the surface to this room. Also expandable.

A fairly open and expandable design, these tombs will probably fill up before the year is over.

These Rooms Are Full of Death

This is where ten or so dwarves died of dehydration, since no one believed they weren't wereskinks. Or at least, that's the official story.

You can't see the bodies, but for every bed there's a desiccated corpse.

Great Hall

Yes, that depot is accessible. This is where the new migrants have set up temporary workshops and food storage, as well as some crude tables and chairs.
