Holy Mosaics 1

Still a few more to go.

Duchess' Quarters

She likes tin, so most of the furniture was made of tin, aside from two black bronze furnishing in the office, and gold statues of the militia commander and mayor in the dining room. Still, everything is up to snuff value-wise.

Her "grand mausoleum" is below the floor hatch.

Dwarf Statue 1

This is probably my first serious effort at a 3D megastatue. I'll have to see it in stonesense to see it if it works, but it's recognizably humanoid, at least. Didn't realize the head would look so big, but you can't really get detail any other way when you're working "small."

Like a dwarf ten stories tall could be called small.

Just for the sake of comparison.

Side View

Still kind of proud of this profile. It's interesting to compare it with the original.

Cavern 3

It is wet. No idea what left the mysterious trail of blood to the east, but its name is "Lobstermenaces the Shore of Coasts."

Cavern 2

There's another one of them, a quadruped made of coral, also blasting extract.

Cavern 1

You can't see the forgotten beast that's been blasting its extract all over the place, but you can sure see its handiwork.

Wolves

I hope their howling makes the elves shudder.

Woodworks

Never can seem to keep enough timber around here.

Underground livestock

I think I may have to disperse some of these creatures. They're crowding each other.

Living, Dining, Dying

If you look closely, you'll see that there are more private dining rooms. Also, more tombs, mostly due to sieges. Last one cost me five, plus a few mercenaries.

Temple Mosaics

They're simple little things, but I'm rather proud of them. Two down, ten to go. You can probably guess what they represent.

Levers for underfort

One for the bridge, four for the waterworks. Soooo glad that we can assign particular stones to particular things, it makes this kind of thing so much easier when you can just go "oh, the microcline lever goes to the microcline floodgate!" and not have to make hundreds of mechanisms to get one of the right stone. This is especially relevant because in this fort, just about everything that's not specifically designated is made of chert.

Underfort

In case you're wondering, yes, that's a trap.

Thanks to Toady's latest development, I decided to make sure that the FB I'm intending to smash is appropriately baited. Each one of those gold statues bears an image of said forgotten beast.

I'm also very close to filling the decontamination pool you see at the south end. Just a matter of getting the depth just right...
