I lost 40 dwarfs in this siege. I wasn't prepared militarily... my champions were all resting due to wounds, and most of the rest of my military had been lost in other ambushes. I thought my siege operators would be more effective, but they need much more training to shoot straight, and they ran far earlier than I thought they would.
Which means the front door was wide open, and the goblins walked right in. What little military I had was taken out quickly, so I began calling in civilians to fight. Eventually, after sending enough dwarfs in to their death, the goblins laughed and left.
Now I have major cleanup, bodies and blood everywhere, and need to rethink my defense plan. (It was fun, though!) -
