Movie: Clockwork Drowning Entryway in Action | Coaldiamond |
View / ReplySubmitted by: Coaldiamond - 2009-04-07Movie starts off right after the ambush is detected. A hostile marksdwarf rushes ahead while three goblins charge into the chamber. Had a siege cohort tried this, there would have been much more blood, but even still, it was fun to watch. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Coaldiamond - 2009-02-17Well, how long it takes depends on how much you like automated defenses. When I made my last 2 forts with this kind of defense, I would refuse to start any industries until the chamber is finished. That way, you don't attract seiges and ambushes until you're ready. |

Movie: Periodic Waterfall | Coaldiamond |
View / ReplySubmitted by: Coaldiamond - 2009-02-01Not too much going on here, just a short vid from my fort Duralducim (Clockworks). I have an aqueduct above the fort that also releases a waterfall (thanks to a pressure plate in a high traffic area) every so often. The real trick is keeping the pool from overflowing. |

Movie: Clockwork Drowning Chamber | Coaldiamond |
View / ReplySubmitted by: Coaldiamond - 2009-01-25Well, even though it wasn't perfect, I'm still excited to see that it works at all. Newer versions can be built with larger chambers and with longer timers, to better kill pesky invaders. |

Paratrooping Gobbo Moshpit, Flaming Dwarves, and Carp
There are two squads of PARATROOPING gobbos outside. They spawned in a completely isolated island. One of them is missing all of his limbs. There are piles of flaming dwarf skeletons. The river runs red with blood. There are piles of flaming fish. The landscape is on fire. The original seven settlers are safe in their Vault. The carp are running away. - RPharazon
