Next time, link a support up to a lever so you can save dwarves... but maybe you didn't care that much.

Bugged artifact miner

This here is a dwarf who has been assigned to mining. Said dwarf is walking to a pick, deciding not to take it, walking a couple spaces away, then walking back to the pick, ad infinitum.

The cause is presumably that the dwarf is carrying an artifact. - SL
