I haven't played this long enough to get a siege. (rl stuff keeps away from playing)
Still it does work with roaming wildlife, spawning immigrants and goblin thiefs/snatchers so far and gives hopes for upcoming sieges.

The only thing thing I'm afraid of are magebeasts or random buggy critters with [buildingdestroyer] tag which could've simply path thru raised bridges (yet this could be prevented/minimized with simple moat)

I'll post another movie/info when siege arrive.

That's how the skill levels increase when you fight extreme opponents. Titans, Forgotten Beasts and demons all instant-legendary your dwarves in whatever skill you attack them with - that is, so long as you survive their first blow :)

It's pretty boring. The first fight which I forgot to record had the Ettin strangle a goblin, whose corpse is on the north side of the arena.

The arena is an elevated platform, walled in, which can only be accessed when the bridge is down. After the fight is over, the bridge is lowered, and aggressors are recaptured in cages.

This fight never ended, so I found something else to do with the goblin. The Ettin is hanging out in a cage in the arena, waiting for me to bring a weaker opponent.

Nothing particularly special about this - it's a civ leader that happens to be some sort of demon. The only "bug" is that everyone is friendly, goblins and all.

This, gentlemen, is the one of the only ways one with the Terminal Badass Syndrome can truly die.
The second being wrestling a demon to death while drowning in a magma sea. Yes, drowning. And the demon is supposed to drown first.
