Movie: Fell beast | Pod |
View / ReplySubmitted by: Quietust - 2010-06-11A bit too much editing? The entire movie is about a third of a second long and consists almost entirely of a jumble of announcement and military management screens. |

Movie: LAVA EVERYWHERE:volcano eruption? | ToWT |
View / ReplySubmitted by: Rodney - 2010-05-29I'm guessing the lava flow feeding the volcano is programmed to fill the pipe up to a z-level which is higher than the pipe itself is. if the above is true then your volcano will theoretically never stop spewing |

Second Siege - In which one side is completely wrecked
Early autumn, 207. Bootlashes has suffered through a tantrumsplosion in the past year, going from 130 dwarves to under 80, back up to nearly 100. And the goblins are sieging again.
Two squads of goblins showed up to wreck me. One brave and/or stupid marksdwarf faced a mob of wrestlers and crossbowgobbos, hitting their mace lord leader in the heart and lungs with her first shot. The other goblins of that squad soiled themselves and fled for their lives, leaving only a squad of wrestlers and hammergobbos led by a spearmaster.
This is where the video starts. A couple of kobolds make guest appearances, which threw me off a bit. I tried going for a more defensive route this time around, as the fort entrances were lined with traps. The bright soldiers totally ignored this and went outside to fight, of course, but hey.
There're a lot of lulls in action, but when it picks up, it's fast, so you might have to mess with the speed quite a bit.
I spent the end of the vid trying to see who killed how many, but wasn't very successful. A final list from Legends mode:
Goblin kills (18 out of 32):
Illusionada: 1 (singlehandedly killed the macelord and scared off a whole squad)
Cog Dreamyhalls (orphaned war dog): 1 (he got lucky, appearing then and there. Since his owner, the first leader of the fort, was killed, he hasn't seen any action until now)
Flonne: 1 (Her hand is mangled and she's been brain damaged, but she'll live.)
Sue: 3 (killed the spearmaster, who had killed two orphaned war dogs earlier)
Chomp Dude: 1
Jason: 1
Nish Sprinkleddaggers (Jason's war dog): 1
Echo: 1
Tsunami: 1
Tidal: 1
Nate: 2
Two: 2 (earned title: The Sandal of Butterflies)
Hepatix: 2 (earned title: The Regal Flame of Erasure)
(For the record, I didn't get that injured goblin near the end.)
Kobold kills (3 out of 3):
Two: 1 (not shown -- he found the kobold after this vid)
Hepatix: 2 (missed him getting one of them, but you can't miss the other unless the vid's fast)
As an aside, this siege is called The Attack of Fighting. -
