Also, one reason the bolts might seem to miss alot could be becasue the dwarf is aiming for a goblin on the side of the hall, and due to the bolts small course changes smashes into the wall, when if the dwarf aimed for the middle it would have not hit the wall. |

Nothing really special. I forgot to record the actual process of damming the river. Channeling under the river and putting in the floodgates took very little time once I installed the unnecessary amount of pumps and dug the farm. If I were to do this on an open field, I would not worry about flooding.
As you can see there are two channels under the brook. Not only does this help create a small area building area but it also allows additions (without putting floor hatches in the initial design). For the second channel to be hooked up again add a second set of floodgates and open the first. -
