Movie: Perpetual Aquifer Power | Kanddak |
View / ReplySubmitted by: Kanddak - 2010-03-02There is no extra 1/7 shifting around. The bucketload of water disappears into the aquifer and only static 7/7 water remains in the channel. |

Movie: Semi-automatic Orcsicle maker | Vattic |
View / ReplySubmitted by: Kanddak - 2009-11-11I like the way the water is conserved and recycled. Instead of pouring it off to evaporate, you could even put it into a cistern and make your defense system double as a water source on a map where you have no sourced water and depend on thawing ice. |

Movie: Water generator | _nil_ |
View / ReplySubmitted by: Kanddak - 2009-11-05So you drain off bits of water, then the water tiles are frozen by the wandering bits of 1/7 magma and then thawed to put them back to 7/7, correct? |

Movie: Semi-automatic Orcsicle maker | Vattic |
View / ReplySubmitted by: Kanddak - 2009-10-29This thing is beautiful. How does it work internally? I take it there's magma on the next level down that gets drained or dropped or something to freeze the orcs, then replaced to thaw them? I'd love to see a map upload. |

I know this isn't too rare an occurance but it's the first time I've seen it so it was kind of amusing. My expedition leader recently became a baron so the current law giver of the human civilization decided to stop by. I imagine they swapped high-fives and then the devil tried to find something nice to say about my hovel before galloping back to his own town and important tasks. The dwarves didn't bat an eyelid. edit: forgot to use the default tile set and screen size for movie. - Drunken_Gun
