IT doesn't go anywhere. It's just there to provide easy water to the fortress. Kinda like a lazy man's well.
But I suppose pumping it back out IS a good idea.

Well, clsfdkidd, if you go to the WIKI and look in the cheats section, you'll find my notorious cheating on the smelter mod -- it lets you poop out gems from the teh smelters.

Yes, salmeuk. I know. Do you want to suggest a shape for me to experiment with?

Well, at about 147 dwarves this fortress has a nice and big population.
The area is so dangerous that immigrants refuse to come to this godsforsaken death trap.
All and all, nice place. Three levels. Don't really know what's under neath the layers of rock. Will probably find out later.

Notice all the equipment outside. That's from the five or so sieges we had in one year. It was amazing. 160 or so goblins and kobolds so far and only 8 dead military dwarves. Heh heh.
