The first cavern starts 4 Z-levels beneath the surface, which means custom worldgen parameters were almost definitely used (the normal minimum is 10 Z-levels).

It's also possible that his world is a "Region" rather than an "Island" and the embark is away from the coastlines or steep mountains - ISLAND worlds tend to result in extremely tall cavern layers, while REGION worlds can easily get you a magma sea that's less than 50 Z-levels beneath the surface.

At one point, it was implied that v0.34's human Tombs were going to take on this shape, but this has since been found to be not the case.

How exactly was the computer clock generator originally hooked up? It looks similar to MrFake's n-step cyclic repeater, though that design wouldn't have suffered from the flaw of residual pump inertia moving the water multiple cells.

Nice dense tree farms just below the surface, though your tileset is rather odd - for whatever reason, dimple cup shrubs use the same tile as tunnel tubes...

I personally think it's just a Dwarf trail.

As for the slugman and snailman leather accessories, they were probably in the inventory of a goblin squad leader - they come from the actual goblin civilization, and for each creature they kill during worldgen, they make a trinket out of it and keep it as a trophy of sorts.

If by "that huge room" you mean the tree farm, it probably just started growing once the caverns were breached.

The only problem I see is that it'll take a long time for it to completely fill up, since it's drawing water from the top of a 1 Z-level tank. That, and the pump isn't machine-powered.

There's some serious graphical problems here - white squares, up-ramps, and green dwarves in the woods, and water looking like groups of unmined gems from several Z-levels up.

If you exported this map using 40d#, you might want to re-export it using straight 40d.

ClsfdKidd: Considering the glowing pit tiles I see at the bottom Z-level, it looks like he's mined out quite a bit of raw adamantine, and artifact weapons/armor/furniture made from Adamantine can easily be worth several million dwarfbucks apiece.

I see that you've used the fortification trick to peek beyond a bit of the Adamantine - I thought you weren't going to do that until the Philosopher arrived.
