View / ReplySubmitted by: Kutan - 2009-03-10That squiggly of magma was supposed to be there so magma pipe baddies couldn't navigate their way into my fortress, but I gave it up because it took a LOOOONG time for the magma to even fill up in that straight away. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Kutan - 2008-11-16Aside from lacking some workshops and things of that nature, I'd say try to expand your barracks/sleeping arrangements a little more.. Looks pretty solid as far as not letting anything in goes. Also, just in case, you might want to remove the natural ramps on the sides and make a big wall to block anything unwanted from being on top. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Kutan - 2008-05-29I try to build into a sand/loam to place things like my stone stockpile and my farm. I then dig down into the actual stone and dig out my bedrooms and workshops.. So uhm, for future reference, you'll at least your bedrooms, dining rooms, offices, and burial chambers in stone so you can smooth and engrave them to make your Dwarves happier. |
