Deconstructed water pump tower
I've been slowly working away at deconstructing the water pump tower and the magamduct. Now I'm at the stage where I can build something to sink this last part of the obsidian walkway. Once that's sunk, the only thing holding the magma mould afloat will be its connection to the dam (which will be removed by the constructed ring), and the magamduct (which will have its connection severed before the ring is dropped).
The ring will destroy the connection between the dam and the mould; the mould will fall and destroy the connection between the dam and the ocean floor; and finally the dam will fall into the carefully-dug hole in the ground, fully exposing the city to the ocean.
Or at least that's how I hope it's going to happen... -
