As you can see here, the halls of doom have much more than simple traps. These twisting passages are all in the line of fire of the most infamous weapon known to Dwarven kind... THE WOODEN RAIL GUN!!! (also known as the Ballista). There's also a cow at the end of the tunnels to lure the goblins this way once the drawbridge is pulled up. - shadowclasper
