View / ReplySubmitted by: Drone - 2008-11-22I think water doesn't follow normal pressure rules if it has to go through a floor hatch. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Drone - 2008-11-21If you intend the tower to be that wide, it'll look more like a squat warehouse than a tower. I found that with the several stupidly large towers I build. Unless they are very narrow (Like 10 or so tiles along each side) it looks like a cube rather than a tower D: |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Drone - 2008-11-17Yeah, putting magma under it, or casting the actual thing out of magma would cause it not to freeze (I think water only freezes if it is outside or under a construction) |
Each lever controls one of the rooms and will dump a hellton of water on any fire that threatens my fort. The drainways are on the level below and the resivours on the level above. Each lever attaches to somthing like 22 hatches.
I relize in game mechanics it may all just turn into steam, and scald my dwarfs todeath and spread the flames, but its still cool in my head. Also I wont know untilI need to test it, so there. -
