Sadly, an Orcish siege in the winter of 189 caused several deaths and instigated a tantrum spiral. I have since found that reclaiming a lost fort leaves friendly Orcs on the map, and that kind of killed the mood for me. |

I thought he had the best graphics but the original resolution is too small. So I doubled the recommended screen resolution. The graphics now remind me of the little pixel guys from Colonization (or maybe Civilization 2). I've since tweaked a few of the graphics and tiles to suit my own tastes. |

The design for the entry into the fortress was a fairly simple affair. A long row of bridges hooked to a lever can be activated to smash invaders.
Two tile wide bridges raise to the south, one tile wide raise to the north. This maintains enemy AI pathing, meaning they will charge down the corridor and get smashed. Two chained piglets at the end of this prevent thieves from sneaking inside. -
