View / ReplySubmitted by: ajr_ - 2014-05-01I'm motivated by the upcoming DF2014 patch to try different things and possibly explore DF2012 mods that will be incompatible with the new version. In this process I discovered DFhack, the new Dwarf Therapist and lots of other utilities, and great music. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: ajr_ - 2014-04-30Thanks, tbh I had no idea how much I would have to mine stone to get it all roofed up and floored... Turns out a lot. I'm happy that there's plenty of iron ore though, so much that I'm making "windows" of it. The town is called "Mountain of Immortality", it just somehow became "Immortal". The idea is to mine out the sides so that the town seems to be lying on an artificial mountain or at least above dreadful pits in flat lands. |

When my masons finish building and detailing walls and floors, here I'll put barracks and in two rooms a little to the south (where there's unbuilt floors) I'll put archery targets. See how those staircases to the right are conveniently placed, going right to fortifications? - Dariush
