View / ReplySubmitted by: ajr_ - 2014-06-29Wait until you see the goblins! They sometimes kill 4 of my dwarves before I get to them with my soldiers, but then my fortress goes into an irreversible tantrum spiral, especially if I don't have my dining room and personal palaces set up yet. |

The reindeers are great cattle because they survive on little soil, but the yak/water buffalo eats all that's in the current pen alone in time it gets replenished. The horses together eat as much and the donkeys needs a bit less pasture than a horse. It's your choice, you might have to butcher half of your herd soonish. But do like your animal husbandry ideas. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: ajr_ - 2014-06-17wow, powerful, perfect use of tileset. Simple, dwarfy. Cool. I love it, one of my phavoriets. It's cool how you found a soil covered volcano. Haven't seen this flat and this shallow magma before. Did you use any utilities to find the location or did you just do some exploratory expeditioning? |

View / ReplySubmitted by: ajr_ - 2014-06-12Wow! looking very nice. The boat trench needn't even be flooded it looks nice nevertheless. I was hoping to see some down leveled royal housing but seems like I'll have to do it myself. You even have gold floor in the dwarvarium? |

These are the lavaworks, accessed by tunnel and walled in to prevent invasion. The smoke you see is the remains of an Imp attack. - tanonx
