The way I picture it in my head is a monumental stone pillar with the rest of the world that has yet managed to survive impaled on the top of it. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Noble Digger - 2009-02-06Having authored multiple fortresses with 10000+ rock blocks laid upon the earth, I know your pain. Kudos on creating such an amazing testament to patience and long-term vision for fortress creation, and tenacity in the face of a clunky and *DIFFICULT* construction UI. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Noble Digger - 2009-01-30Great fortress, one of my old favorites when I lurked the site. I know now what a mirthless pain it is to create things like this, so kudos on finishing this awesome fortress. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Noble Digger - 2009-01-30The Road of White Shadow will be flooded, and deep within the earth. It's not meant for travel, just to fool the king into thinking we have a valuable road. I also needed the stone and digging it out gave me quite a few mineral veins. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Noble Digger - 2009-01-30Non-square tilesets melt my skull, but good luck with this fortress, sir! |
A fairly simple entrance so that I could throw it together quickly.
There is no roof and it was not meant to keep enemies out for long.
I haven't actually been closing the drawbridge when I get attacked. -
