A very dwarvish home. I love how the fortress keeps building around the cave river.

Keep it going!

You've managed an infinite supply of both fuel and water. Nice aquifer management.

And here's a condescending remark! "DON'T DIG UP!" :)

You should make those bridges retract over a greater drop. And you can link them to pressure plates so it will be an automatic defense against ambushes. You have not lived until you've seen a goblin fall 11+ z levels.

1 z: Confused, find new path.
2 z: Stunned, find new path.
4 z: Broken bones and bleeding. Run away.
5 z: Sometimes dead, depending on how tough.
10 z: Dead.
11+ z: Body parts are flying.

That is a lot of, well... Everything. You must have several hundred bins of just useless stuff. And the booze...

A very impressive stockpile, sir. You could withstand a siege of forever.

Nice. A neat and tidy fort. However, I imagine you are going to outgrow that initial design very quickly.

I love modular fortress design! It looks like that hallway/stair/square room combo could go on forever. Nice.

Awesome story, and a cool fort.

Only one thing to do. Trap all the Cave Crocodiles and hold out for a dungeon master! Cave Crocodiles are wicked awesome, especially in numbers. Hopefully they haven't been slaughtered.

You're a monster, sticking your dwarves in dirt like that. I like the massive sprawling scope of it, though.

The aquifer was probably in a corner somewhere. You might want to run reveal.exe on a save of it and see if it really isn't there.

That place looks cold. I get shivers just looking at your "moat". It certainly won't keep out any invaders.

I like the way you used support pillars, even though they aren't technically necessary. It looks great. And then whoa! You mined out the whole level! And Another!

I like the idea of doubling the shops as a vomitorium. Great way to keep your Dwarf's eyes accustomed to the sun. The road in front looks especially inviting.

Judging from the thin line of cage traps, you must not get very many angry visitors...

Now this is not dwarvish at all! What heathens would create such a monstrosity!

BTW, Completely Awesome Idea!
