View / ReplySubmitted by: Retro - 2010-01-25It's full! This continues to be a terrific fort all around. It's already impressive that you pulled off the underwater fort challenge, much less doing it with the amount of style you did. Well done sir. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Retro - 2010-01-14Hey, Silverwaters has made more progress! I've been keeping my eye on this - still a gorgeous, well laid-out fort. Can't wait to see it with the lake full. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Retro - 2009-12-17I've done some looking around in Stonesense, but what with the colours all being the same, I didn't take any screenies. The new version just came out today, though, so I'm going to take a look-see in that later tonight and edit some screenies into this comment. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Retro - 2009-12-03Why thank you! Since I don't think anyone's done anything quite like this before (in terms of sheer terraforming and natural cavern shaping), I'm expecting to post a topic in the forums with a buttload of information, screenshots (in VF as well as Stonesense - the fort's designed for viewing in visualizers, actually, so it's quite cool), and the save - but not until I'm completely done. I've got quite a vision ahead of me still, and I'm only a month or so into the project thus far. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Retro - 2009-12-03I tend to be a "POIs or bust" kind of guy when looking at maps, but Noble Digger's comment got me curious, so I went looking for your fort... quite cool actually! I would also recommend some POIs so others with my mentality don't bypass this map. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Retro - 2009-11-29I enjoy this fort a lot. It's aesthetically really nice, esp. the waterfall and such. Did you change your colour scheme from the default? |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Retro - 2009-11-24Just wanted to say that your fort is great - and that the river in particular inspired the current huge project I'm working on. It's incredibly aesthetically pleasing. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Retro - 2009-11-19Very grand-looking fort. Has a nice, smooth feel to it - very much like the basis around the central pit / giant empty space. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Retro - 2009-11-15I totally agree - it's an awful yard. Again, it's temporary (thank gods) so once I finish the diggin' and get permanent places for things underground, I'll be able to finally take remove that mess. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: Retro - 2009-09-01This is absolutely just impressive as hell. And the magma moat is genius. Question though, how far in advance did you plan? I always have difficulty giving my final products a classy, finished kind of look because I always start a fort for efficiency rather than style until I've got a fair number of immigrants/haulers. |
This is where all of my metal goods are made. There are tunnels under the floor that supply the smelters with magma. I currently have only found tin, silver and copper so my military is currently wearing bronze chainmail. Steel will be made as soon as more goblins show up with iron weapons to melt. - Servu
