View / ReplySubmitted by: ClsfdKidd - 2010-06-01Great luck getting both the magma and the lake on the same level. This fortress has more of a sprawling, multiple towns, sort of feel. It's not really a massive single unit. If one of the sections gets completely massacred, you could seal it off and probably make do without it. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: ClsfdKidd - 2010-05-20Although still young, this fortress is already taking on an epic sort of feel. The point of interests make me feel like I could have been looking over your shoulder while all this happened. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: ClsfdKidd - 2010-05-20Perhaps a simple drawbridge with some fortifications would have helped these poor souls. When the goblins show up uninvited, pull up the bridge. You can then create a military out of peasants and train them up by shooting out at the sieging army. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: ClsfdKidd - 2010-02-25With a pit, cave river, and magma pipe, you could do anything here. You are limited only by your imagination. |

View / ReplySubmitted by: ClsfdKidd - 2010-02-25If you bumped off the ramps on the hill around your stairs, and then made two short walls you would be safe from attackers. One bridge and three mechanisms later and you'd be able to weather any siege. |
Having covered the cave river as part of my initial terraforming procedure (see the walled outer yard for another example), I apparently hadn't yet discovered the river. So the map gets cut off here. Fortunately, there's not much to see beyond some food-storage-to-be and dead ends. - Anxiety
