I can't help but be reminded of the Forward Observation Pods from the game Aliens versus Predator 2. Not that being suspended a few hundred meters aboveground in an isolated gorge helped them. Turned out that the supports the Pods were hanging from could be used by xenomorphs as an infiltration route. Needles to say, but the Pods were overrun within the hour.

Glad to see your forges use the unpassable parts as a way to block the holes to the magma! Though, you really should put bars over top of the holes until you're ready to put a forge there.

Tables and chairs that are shared induce bad thoughts in dwarves.
Fix them.

Also, circle fort is fort.
And circle.

Thank you for the tip, as you can see, I made the corridors wider now. The main problem was that I didn't plan ahead well, so I had to shift the rooms a bit, which means I had to build walls. The distinktion between built walls and smoothed natural walls is a bit annoying imo, since it apparently means that I can't engrave all the dining room walls now.

Are you sure you didn't modify your raws(especial soil types and such) or something? That seems to make the world different even with the same seed, which makes sense.

Reminds me of those plywood and metal concrete molds that are raised upwards as the internal structure is built.

Awsome.

It's OK, All I needed to do was restart my web browser. I managed to post it almost a minute after commenting.

Could've been worse, I could've sent you a 4 paragraph badly written email about it. Now that would be embarrassing. :

I tend to imagine some ramps as a straight flight of stairs, like the the steps in front of the U.S. Capitol. The "twisty ramps" to me are like a larger scale version twisty stairs. But nonetheless, it has the same effects of a straight stairwell in that dwarves seem to instantly traverse them regardless of height.
