Cake mkxviii

Apples don't work in cakes, they add too much water, you get pie instead. This I found out when creating mkxvii. I think rather I'd like to try apple pancakes instead, like my grandma used to make, with a bit of rum and icing sugar dusted ontop.

Note: cake mk xvii, the cherry and cranberry fruit cake, never had any photos taken of it. This is a shame because it was very well received and nomed up by lots of people who all got little bits of it.
