My name is John Beech, I graduated from The University of Manchester with a BENg in Software Engineering (1st class), and have since been employed as a Senior Web Developer at Elevator Learning. I have also held developer positions at Marconi Communications, British Telecoms, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, and the Children's University of Manchester.
Software Engineer
As a software engineer I can engage clients at an early stage and reason with their requirements; allowing me to plan and design applications that my team can build and deliver.

As a web-developer I've been responsible for maintaining and delivering intranet and internet based web-applications. Recent projects include:
Flash applications
As a flash-developer I am capable of designing and building full flash websites and flash interactions. I can apply AS2 or AS3 development dependent on complexity and target audience.
Flex Development
Backing up my flash skills I am also capable of porting legacy Flex 1.5 code to Adobe Flex 3.0 (AS3) in support of customer-facing business tools.
