  ( 1100 Late Spring to onwards )
  Steel walls, steel fortifications, masterpiece catapults.
  
  Hey did you know catapults don't fire onto different z-levels? I sure didn't. - Gudamor

• Δ Magma Extinguishing Device
  After the great fire, it was determined that a lava flooded valley, while pretty, was rather unsafe, and these pumps were built to harden the upper layers of the magma pipe.
  
  This proved to be rather buggy, however. Now when the steel bridges are raised, they have another steel bridge underneath them.
  
  However, it did successfully plug all the holes, saving quite a bit of my FPS. - Gudamor
• Δ Unusual Arrow Formation
  Since installing archery targets on the tops of the castle, these have been appearing and growing on each side of the fort. I assume they are bolts flying beyond the target, but it's rather odd to have a line like that, I'd think. - Gudamor
• Δ Lava Flood

  ( 1100 Late Spring to onwards )
  While the magma pumps were operating, this whole area was constantly flooded in alternately expanding and evaporating waves of lava. This was the furthest extent of it.
  
  The stream underneath was turned to obsidian, stopping the flow and eventually emptying the entire thing past this point.
  
  The steel barrier on the right protected the valuable woodlands to the east. - Gudamor

• Δ Magma Pumps

  ( 1100 Late Spring to onwards )
  Until recently, these two pumps constantly drained the top layer of magma in the magma pipe. With the recent patch, the magma attempted to refill to one level too high, burning several dwarves and destroying the bridges.
  
  The magma exited through the shaft, between the steel bars at the end, and out into the north valley. - Gudamor

• Δ Site of the Great Fire
  The main cause of the fortress's decades long 'recession,' The Great Fire was started when, after a goblin fell into the lava flood, a helpful dwarf stored his narrow giant spider silk vest in this huge pile.
  
  After several failed attempts at just forbidding everything, it was decided to wall in the raging inferno. The lower white (rock) wall was never completed, as the masons all died horrible flaming deaths. The second, metal wall was successful, trapping the fire as well as a number of its victims behind a makeshift steel/bronze/silver alloy.
  
  Since then the walls have been breached, the remaining metal goods slowly traded off or melted down, and the fallen's charred bones recovered and properly interred. - Gudamor
• Δ Den of Baby-making

  ( 1100 Late Spring to onwards )
  The Duchess Consort who owns these three rooms is notable for having birthed an entirely unreasonable thirteen baby dwarves. Including the current Mayor.
  
  Oh and she's legendary in every social skill, and from that has built some herculean stats. - Gudamor

• Δ Expensive Housing

  ( 1100 Late Spring to onwards )
  Masterpiece detailed walls, often of magnetite, limit these rooms to the richest or most legendary of dwarves.
  Two-thirds of the bedrooms are unoccupied, never were designated bedrooms to begin with, or are missing beds completely due to tantrumming dwarves.
  Originally each room was to get a chest and cabinet.

• Δ King's Hall

  ( 1100 Late Spring to onwards )
  Throne: Stutteredgrowl the Dim Oracle, a Rhyolite throne. It is encrusted with Rhyolite and encircled with bands of Clear tourmaline and cave fish bone. This object menaces with spikes of Rhyolite, Rope reed and Tower-cap. On the item is an image of a circle in turtle shell. On the item is an image of a cloud in horny marmot bone. On the item is an image of a dwarf and a dwarf in horse leather. The dwarf is striking down the dwarf.
  Value: 25200
  
  Bed:... whatever. Another artifact. Same with the table in the dining hall. And the queen's bed. They're not even interesting artifacts, so whatever. - Gudamor

• Δ Queen's Chambers

  ( 1100 Late Spring to onwards )
  She has over 500 owned items. Compare that to the King's 26. The King also has NEVER MANDATED ANYTHING, while the Queen is constantly being needy.
  
  She has provided Bravedlantern with 10 strong children, however. - Gudamor

• Δ Breweries and Kitchens

  ( 1100 Late Spring to onwards )
  Food and drink production stopped for two whole decades while the fortress lived off of the plentiful stockpiles.
  
  Only recently was it discovered that no drink remained in the entire place. Nothing motivates a dwarf faster than the promise of booze: stockpiles for drinks are now near 10,000 units, and a similar amount for food. - Gudamor

• King's Tome

  ( 1070 Mid Spring to onwards )
  Gold walls, gold floor, platinum tome, statues, and chests.
  
  The mist is from the waterfall from the underground river. This is the river's natural course. It falls from the level with the watermills straight down into a chasm.
  
  As of 1100, the coffin is: Bride Incenses the Undignified Legendary-Ape. This is a magnetite coffin. It is encrusted with Hematite and Milk opal, studded with Gold and encircled with bands of Milk Opal. This object menaces with spikes of Magnetite, donkey bone and Wax Opal.
  
  Value: 102,000 monies - Gudamor

• Queen's Tome

  ( 1070 to onwards )
  The queen gets Rose Gold walls, detailed floors, and golden furniture.
  
  
  
  As of 1100: Paddlesparkles, a lead sarcophagus. It is studded with lead.
  
  Value: 4,800 monies. - Gudamor

• Δ Great Graveyard

  ( 1100 Late Spring to onwards )
  Nearly 700 coffins for commoners (no pets!) and military. Only the inner two rings are full. - Gudamor
